EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Tetradrachm (Billon, 26 mm, 11.72 g, 12 h), RY 9 = 124/5. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ ϹЄΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΕΤ ΕΝΑΤ Draped bust of Dionysos (?) to right, wearing wreath of ivy and fruits (?). Dattari (Savio) 7404A = RPC 5501A.1 (this coin). Emmett -. K&G -. Apparently unique. Minor flan faults and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
